The tournament organization was supported by Sports Lab, which provided various services including referee nomination, player registration, and the management of game schedules and systems.

A total of 150 players, forming 10 female teams, enthusiastically participated in the tournament, showcasing their talents and passion for football.

During the award ceremony held at Education City Stadium, Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice Chairperson and CEO of the Qatar Foundation, alongside football legend David Beckham, presented prizes to the winners of the Women and Girls Football Initiative. Among the deserving recipients was the Sports Lab Academy team, which emerged victorious and secured the 1st Place position.

The initiative was driven by several key goals, including the advancement of women’s football in Qatar, the promotion of sporting diversity, and the establishment of a socially conscious global legacy in conjunction with the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM. Through these efforts, the organizers aimed to inspire and empower women in sports while fostering a culture of inclusivity and community engagement.
